I started this frame by first making the basic frame out of wood. I then cut up lengths of copper pipe, slit them and hammered them flat. I then made the necessary cuts and bends, by hand, and soldered them together over the wooden frame. I then finished it off with some extensive metal work over the copper, and went over the entire frame with fine scotch pads.
