This beautiful image is again by one of my favorite artists, Mr. Ciro Marchetti. I like his work so much that when I can get one of his images I always want to create a frame that will compliment his work.
I’ve used square, flat, and angled steel stock for most of this frame, then cut, welded and ground each piece before assembling them. I formed some flat copper stock for the bottom corners and silver soldered them together. Then cut out a few more copper accent pieces and put them in place. And finished the sides with 1/8″ brass rods. Once again, this frame turned out quite heavy (38 lbs.) but I’m very happy with it and it’s now another part of my collection.
