I’ve used a very unusual specimen of Quartz Crystal, called “Faden” Quartz, from Pakistan, for this piece. It has many facets and large flat surfaces formed on it. I’ve used a highly detailed, fine Pewter Castle figure, from Perth Pewter, for the focal point. Its got some very nice faceted, lead glass points, fastened around it, which sparkle very nicely under a light source. The Castle sits off to the edge of a “lake”, which is a small specimen of Utah Selenite having an icy, or watery effect. The bottom is felted to protect furniture.
