I found this figure on line, but I don’t know who its by. But the detail and paint is fabulous! From the faint print on her dress, to her pearls, and the various plants and creatures around her. The beautiful little frog, sitting on a Lotus seed pod, is from Top Collection. I’ve mounted her on a slice of Brazilian Agate, and behind her is another specimen of Labradorite, from Madagascar, which shows a beautiful flash of colors when viewed from different angles. The base is of a Hardwood from Australia called Corymbia Opaca, or Bloodwood, which I’ve hand cut and finished to match the piece. The bottom is felted to protect furniture.
