The Wind Mill
I bought this “Wind Mill” figure, by Veronese, on line and made quite a few changes to it. I’ve extended the shaft out the back and added two pulleys to it. These pulleys provide power to, and from, different apparatus, which, in turn, provides power to various pieces of equipment and machinery in this little Wizard’s shop and home.
I’ve used an excellent Arkansas Quartz crystal, as the main focus of his house. The front door is of Fine Pewter. To finish off this piece I’ve added an intricate railing, leading from his front door to the Wind Mill, providing a safe passage from his home to the Mill.
The base is a slice of a hand cut and polished hardwood called Corymbia Opaca, from Australia. The bottom is covered with heavy felt to protect furniture.
