Trouble in the Basement
Machinery and equipment, of all kinds, need constant upkeep and repair. Seems this little Wizard is having trouble keeping the lights on. As his book suggests, he’ll try a new power sphere to correct the problem.
The little Wizard is by a long out of business Company called Gallo Pewter. His “apparatus” is a figure I bought on line and modified to meet my needs. I’ve added a small pewter hatch door, and ladder, to provide him access to the basement.
I’ve used an absolutely clear Brazilian Quartz crystal, mounted on some brass machine parts, and in turn, mounted on a slab of Brazilian Agate. I’ve placed two, very nice, pearly white spheres on top of the posts on either side of the stairs. A red LED light shines up through this Crystal creating a beautiful effect. A yellow LED shines above the steps, and a white LED, on top of the rear post, provides light for his reading. The base is a hand cut and finished slice of a very hard wood called Corymbia Opaca, or “Bloodwood” from Australia. The bottom is felted and stands on 4 small rubber feet.
