I’ve had this wonderful figure of a Prometheus Engineer, which appeared in the movie “Prometheus”, for over a year, and finally found the perfect stone to go with it. The figure was made in China and is loaded with wonderful detail work. I’ve added a few gears and other mechanical parts he’ll need to complete his repairs.
     The incredible Brazilian Quartz Crystal was cut, ground and polished by the highest level of craftsman in Brazil. The amount of work accomplished to give this Crystal its form, called a “Flame”, is astonishing. I’ve embedded some white LED lights at the base of the Crystal and when lit, creates another highlight of this piece.
     Because of the amount of material I used to create this piece, and the extreme weight of the Crystal, this piece has turned out very heavy, 80 lbs.. I made the wood base from a slab of hardwood called “Corymbia Opaca”, or Bloodwood, from Australia, which I then shaped and finished. The bottom is covered with heavy felt to protect furniture.
