The White Pyramid

[Not a valid template]

I believe this Fine Pewter figure, by Ray Lamb, and reproduced by Medieval Productions, is one of his finest pieces. The quality of his sculpting and its reproduction are second to none; from the stone in the ring on his finger, to the details in his face, beard and clothing, and even the lead glass crystal that tips his staff.
I’ve used a beautiful, dark purple specimen of Brazilian Amethyst for the main backdrop on which to build upon. The perfect choice.
The “White Pyramid”itself is of Opal Glass. I’ve installed a small, red laser light diode under it which, when lit, shines up perfectly through its center, lighting up its very tip. It’s a wonderful effect. This Pyramid sits on a slab of White Marble. I cut and shaped the steps of the same material. I’ve added some small, white glass spheres on either sides of the stairs, both top and bottom and to the left rear of the Pyramid.
The base is a hand cut and finished slab of a hardwood, called “Corymbia Opaca”, or Bloodwood, from Australia. The bottom is covered with heavy felt to protect furniture.
I have many hours in the making of this piece and I’m very happy with how it turned out.
