Stair Master

I’ve used a slice of Brazilian Agate to build upon for this piece. The highly decorated center pillar is of a resin material. Anything with stairs takes me quite a lot of time to accomplish, as did this one, and I’ve used small, gold chain, for the safety railing. The highly detailed, Fine Pewter Wizard, by Rawcliffe Pewter, holds a Swarovsky, faceted lead glass sphere. The base is a hand cut and finished slice of a hardwood called Corymbia Opaca, or “Bloodwood”, from Australia. The bottom is felted to protect furniture.
