I picked up some very nice new Crystals and Minerals, to use in my sculptures, at this year’s Tucson Gem Show. I always enjoy going to the Shows and looking at what’s available, and imagining what I could do with all these beautiful materials. It does require a lot of self control, on my part, though. I’m so tempted to buy way much more than I can use. For anyone else that loves Crystals and Minerals as much as I do, I’m sure you’ve been faced with this same problem. You can easily find yourself with that “well, maybe just one more” attitude. Continue reading

My 2014 Gem Show

I look forward, each year, to the Tucson Gem and Mineral Society Show, at the Tucson Convention Center. I work very hard on each of my pieces, not knowing how many, if any, might sell. This is the only Show I do. So when I have a good Show, as I did this year, it means I will be very busy the next 11 months thinking up and creating some new Fantasy Sculptures. Continue reading
New Look

In designing my new site, there were a few specific things I wanted, and one was the look of my Home page. I tried various options but kept coming back to my original thought.
