I’m so sorry to those of you that were looking for me at this years Gem Show. I hadn’t been feeling well for a few weeks before the Show, and that’s why my last post said it would be my last, and had to cancel.
I went to see my doctor and, from his office, he called an ambulance which hauled me away to the emergency room. Two days later I had open heart surgery to replace a valve in my heart. I ended up in the hospital and rehab center for 2 months and a few weeks. I so wished I could have been at the Show.
Now that I’ve canceled my spot, I need to reapply to the folks at TGMS and wait to see if I’ll be accepted to next years Show. I’ll make sure I let all concerned about that answer as soon as I know. Again, I’m sorry I couldn’t let you know before the Show, but I was in no shape to be on my computer. Stay well and THANKS for visiting my web site.

I’ve been doing the Tucson Gem Show, and others, for over fourty years now and each year it becomes harder for me to do. So I’ve decided this will be my last Show. I’ve looked forward to this Show all year long, but all good things must come to an end.
So I’ll be in my usual spot at the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show, at the Convention Center, #1401. The dates this year are Feb. 13th thru the 16th.
If you’ve come by my booth in the past and saw something you’d like to have, now is the time to get that special piece. It’ll be the last time they’ll be on display. Or if your a big buyer, I’ll sell you all of them!!

As February approaches, many folks are gearing up for the best Gem and Mineral Show on Earth as it comes to Tucson, Arizona. I myself have been working all year long on new pieces and, as always, I’m looking forward to adding them to the incredible variety of Earth’s treasures, and going to just a few of the many Shows to view, and buy, new material for my future pieces.
I’ll be at the TGMS Show, at the Tucson Convention Center, from Feb. 8 thru 11, and I’ll be be in booth #1401. I hope you’ll stop by my booth and say hello. I’m sure you’ll find something extraordinary for yourself, or as a gift.  Thanks for visiting my site.

     We all have accidents in our lives. Whether it may be a slip and fall, a bicycle crash, a sports injury, or some other awful incident.
My turn came at the end of April. While sitting in my car, waiting for the traffic light to change, I was “T”boned in my drivers side door by another car traveling at highway speed.
     I was broken up pretty badly, but wasn’t killed.  I’ve spent many months recovering, and while still not 100%, I’ve been able to get back to making some new pieces for the Tucson 2024 Gem Show. Continue reading →

Now that the 2023 Tucson Gem Shows have come and gone, It’s never too early for me to start making new pieces for 2024. I usually get behind on other home projects and things as the Show approaches, so I have a little catching up to do on those items before I can start, and devote all my attention, to my new pieces.
