Minas Morgul

From LOTR, Minas Morgul was the home of “The Witch-King”. He stabbed Frodo with a Morgul Blade on Weathertop.
I found this highly detailed, 3D printed sculpture of Minas Morgul, from Turkey, on line. It’s a wonderful piece, with both red and white LED’s inside. These are powered by a 12vdc battery. The two Gargoyles on either side of the main entrance are from a piece by Karl Deen Sanders.
I used a very nice specimen of Utah Sandstone, from the Escalante region of Utah, for the back piece behind the Castle, added some metalwork around its base, and hand cut and finished a slice of a Hardwood called “Corymbia Opaca”, or Bloodwood, from Australia for the base. The bottom is felted to protect furniture.
