Blue Wizards House
Wish I lived in a place like this. He must be quite a Wizard to be able to afford a home like this. A massive Brazilian Quartz Crystal forms the center of this piece. I made the house section from slices of cut and fit Brazilian Agate, and I used brass tubing for the rain spouts. Look closely, there’s so many little details in this piece it’s hard to describe them all.
Above the front door, by Rawcliffe, is a small Quartz “porch light”, and above it a Dragons head protrudes from the center rain spout to warn any would be wrong doers of the consequences of trespassing. Clear Quartz Crystals form the path up to the front door. A little pewter Elf, on a tree stump, by Rawcliffe, sits to the left of the front door, and a Pewter tree, complete with birds, by Hudson, grows to the right. For the main window of the house, I placed a clear Quartz Crystal, and a small glass sphere, behind a glass magnifying lens, and set this into the side of the house. I used a small glass cab to form the window on the other side of the house.
The stairway to the upper landing, where the home owner enjoys his pipe with his loyal companion, again by Rawcliffe, contains a small light guide to light each step. Amethyst spheres are placed at each end of the stair railing. Other LED lights light up the flat Quartz Crystal at his feet, and the Quartz Crystal in front of the main window.
This is a beautiful, one of a kind, “storybook” house. One of my favorites. Comes with a felt bottomed Bloodwood base.
