This guy’s had enough. He’s had enough of this World, so he’s gathered up his belongings and with his little butterfly friend, decides to give it all up and enter a New World, of which he knows nothing. He’s walking towards Oblivion! But if he decides he’s not happy there either, he’ll just take off for another.

The Fine Pewter figure is by “The Tudor Mint”, and I bought the mirrored “Infinity” on line knowing it was the perfect piece for my idea. The back of the piece is a beautiful specimen of black Rainbow Obsidian, from Mexico. The base is of a hand cut, stained and finished slice of Eucalyptus wood, from Australia, the bottom of which is felted to protect furniture.
