Off to the Wizards Ball

Every year, in the Spring, the Great Wizard’s Ball takes place. One of the highlights is to see which little Wizard will arrive in the finest style. This particular little Wizard has never arrived in anything less than the best, and finest style.
Firstly, his home is a beautifully styled pumpkin, of his own design and making. This pumpkin house is by “Top Collection”. Notice his little dog at his front door howling as he sees him leave. And his small pewter companion will sit on his tree stump until he returns home. These figures are both by Perth Pewter.
The horse drawn, Pumpkin Carriage is so exquisitely done, with the little Wizard inside, and his Faery driver it was hard to let this figure go. It too is by “Perth Pewter”. The detailing is second to none, right down to the feather on his horses head.
The stone is a specimen of Volcanic rock I found in the Escalante region of Utah. It made an excellent, and secure place to construct his Pumpkin home. The base is of a hand cut and finished slice of a hardwood, Corymbia Opaca, or Bloodwood, from Australia. The bottom is felted to protect furniture.
