Spider Woman is a highly detailed figure from Design Toscano. Once again, the painting is incredible. The lines of her stockings and the tattoos on her arms are flawless. And her high heeled shoes and skimpy outfit all reflect her “Spider” personality. And don’t forget to notice her little pet riding on her left thigh.
I’ve used a nice specimen of Irradiated Quartz, from Arkansas, for the backstop, and a highly eroded slab of Sandstone, from the Escalante region of Utah, to mount her on. I then hand cut, shaped and painted a slice of Eucalyptus wood, from Australia, for the base. The bottom is covered with heavy felt to protect furniture.
