I had quite a serious health problem which forced me to cancel my booth at the 2025 TGMS Gem Show, but I’ve recovered very well and was able to get accepted back into the 2026 Show. They’ve even given me my old space back, #1401. So I’m VERY happy to be back. The 2026 dates are Feb. 12th thru the 15th at the Convention Center.

I’m so sorry to those of you that were looking for me at this years Gem Show. I hadn’t been feeling well for a few weeks before the Show, and that’s why my last post said it would be my last, and had to cancel.
I went to see my doctor and, from his office, he called an ambulance which hauled me away to the emergency room. Two days later I had open heart surgery to replace a valve in my heart. I ended up in the hospital and rehab center for 2 months and a few weeks. I so wished I could have been at the Show.

I’ve been doing the Tucson Gem Show, and others, for over fourty years now and each year it becomes harder for me to do. So I’ve decided this will be my last Show. I’ve looked forward to this Show all year long, but all good things must come to an end.
So I’ll be in my usual spot at the Tucson Gem and Mineral Show, at the Convention Center, #1401. The dates this year are Feb. 13th thru the 16th.
If you’ve come by my booth in the past and saw something you’d like to have, now is the time to get that special piece. It’ll be the last time they’ll be on display. Or if your a big buyer, I’ll sell you all of them!!

As February approaches, many folks are gearing up for the best Gem and Mineral Show on Earth as it comes to Tucson, Arizona. I myself have been working all year long on new pieces and, as always, I’m looking forward to adding them to the incredible variety of Earth’s treasures, and going to just a few of the many Shows to view, and buy, new material for my future pieces.

     We all have accidents in our lives. Whether it may be a slip and fall, a bicycle crash, a sports injury, or some other awful incident.
My turn came at the end of April. While sitting in my car, waiting for the traffic light to change, I was “T”boned in my drivers side door by another car traveling at highway speed.
     I was broken up pretty badly, but wasn’t killed.  I’ve spent many months recovering, and while still not 100%, I’ve been able to get back to making some new pieces for the Tucson 2024 Gem Show. Continue reading →
