Princess Akira
For those of you, like me, that are influenced by detail, this piece should create a lot of interest. This figure was created by Dorian Cleavenger and is a fine example of his work. The paint is just incredible, with over 400 paint applications to complete. The detail is unmatched in any piece I have.
The specimen next to her is a wonderful, greenish, druzy Calcite stalactite, from Mexico. Down, to her right, is a specimen of Brazilian Amethyst. I’ve added a small cluster of beautifully clear Arkansas Quartz to give it even more dimension. The wood base is a hand cut and finished slice of a hardwood, called Corymbia Opaca, or “Bloodwood”, from Australia, the bottom of which is covered with heavy felt to protect furniture. An absolutely beautiful piece.
